Korea vigorously promotes medical tourism, which is remarkably boosting with 210,000 tourists in 2013, incredibly expanded from 60,000 in 2009. The government actively supports the project pragmatically; deregulation for tourist acceptance/accommodation, legislative modification, as well as bringing up medical-tourism experts. That's reinforced by local administrations' utter commitment, in alluring both tourists and healthcare institutions/businesses. Further promising factors are medical-tourism products increasingly showcased on the market. The lecture reveals what's going on in Korean medical industry, highlighting healthcare tourism and production upswing.
