Bachelor of Science Graduates (4 years), or
Medicine Graduates (5 years)

Applicants for Special Selection for International Students are required to:
Take the combined Entrance Examination of the HIGO Program and the Master's course of the Graduate School of Medical Sciences or Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Those who pass are qualified as Master candidate students.

After entering the Graduate School under the HIGO Program, Master candidate students are required to:

  1. Do research work in their chosen departments within the Graduate Schools*.
  2. Attend course lectures, and seminars.
  3. Internship.
  4. Laboratory rotation.
  5. Write and present Research Report on social and cultural sciences.
  6. Write and present Master's Thesis at the end of second year.

Continue on to Ph.D. course

Under the HIGO Program,Ph.D.candidate students are required to:

  1. Do research work in their chosen departments within the Graduate Schools.
  2. Attend seminars and practice (Communications, Organizational Management and Public Policy courses).
  3. Internship.
  4. Write and present Research Report on social and cultural sciences.
  5. Write and present Ph.D. Thesis at the end of third or fourth year.

Master to Ph.D. program total:
5 years for Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 5-6 years for Graduate School of Medical Sciences.

After entering the Graduate School under the HIGO Program, PhD candidate students are required to:

  1. Do research work in their chosen departments within the Graduate Schools*.
  2. Attend course lectures, seminars and practice (Communications, Organizational Management and Public Policy courses).
  3. Internship.
  4. Laboratory rotation.
  5. Interim interview at the end of second year.
  6. Write and present Research Report on social and cultural sciences.
  7. Write and present Ph.D. Thesis at the end of fourth year.
