Summary:
Locally most renowned KKT TV Program "Tele-Vitamin" anchor, Mika Murakami, is giving us a meaningful lecture, from perspectives of both media and a living individual. Shockingly, while she was trying the cervical cancer inspection solely for the TV program, the very disease was detected in herself. It turned out to be a report of her own experience, with further events unfolded like diagnosis disclosure. A series of broadcastings, coverages and lectures have followed since, to raise the awareness of cervical cancer and its preventive medical check-out, in cooperative activities with healthcare staffs, prefectural and municipal administrations. The lecture reveals the social situation and problems concerning this specific disease.
