Dr. Takai joined AIST with several years of experience in research and development of agricultural chemicals and pharmaceuticals at a private company. In addition, he had extensive experience with intellectual property management and industry-academic collaborative projects from the university. He is currently in-charge of the technology transfer, for utilizing the intellectual properties of the institute, including various technologies and know-hows in industry.
