The Bank of Japan is the central bank of Japan. This bank aims at maintenance of stability of price and the financial system. It issues banknotes, carries out currency and monetary control, assures smooth settlement and maintains an orderly financial system. Lecturer joined the Bank of Japan in 1988. He has been engaged in policies and business in the field of monetary policy, the money market and settlement system. He has served as the general manager of Kumamoto branch since July 2012.
