Title: From the perspective of an administrative doctor medical officer of the Kumamoto Prefectural Government
In the midst of an aging society with a changing disease structure, health issues have become more complicated. Therefore, we are confronting various public health issues, such as medical care for elderly people, life-style related diseases, and measures at the time of emergent health risk cases such as outbreaks of infectious diseases and disasters.
Medical doctors who belong to the prefectural administration are working actively in fields such as health, medical care, and health risk management in the prefectural government and health centers. I would like to talk about the role of medical workers and introduce some specific examples of measures as an administrative doctor.
